Join us this September for a 6-night snow adventure in Queenstown, specifically designed for intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders ready to develop their skills in a fun & supportive environment. This trip is all about progression, connection & having fun, riding alongside a crew of like-minded women who love to send it. Whether you're keen to hit the terrain park, dial in some ground tricks, or simply ride more confidently across varied terrain, our experienced guides will be right there with you. You'll explore the mountains with confidence and embrace the thrill of progression in a supportive, stoke-filled environment.

Accommodation
We will be staying in a luxury 5 bedroom house conveniently located to the centre of Queenstown. We have a range of accomodation options from bunk beds to a share room with ensuite. There is a spacious outdoor deck with stunning lake and mountain views, 14 seater spa pool, cosy wood-burning fireplace, full kitchen, large living space, ski drying and storage facilities, table tennis & is walking distance to Queenstown CBD.
Room Options:
Single Bed in Share room w/ Ensuite - 2 person room - $3,900 for single bed
Single Bed in Share room - 2 person room - $3,850 for single bed
Shared Queen Bed in private room (perfect for friends/couple) - 2 person room - $3,700pp for shared queen bed
Single Bed (on bunk bed) - 3-4 person room - $3,700pp for top single bunk bed
Travel/Flights
Each guest is responsible for their own travel/flights to and from Queenstown. Our accomodation is a 10 minute drive or 20 minute bus from the airport. You will be responsible for your travel to our accomodation. Check-in is from 4pm.
Queenstown Mountain Shuttle Bus
Each day of our trip we will be catching the mountain bus that runs from Queenstown to our chosen ski field. The bus stop for The Remarkables Ski Area is a 5-minute walk from our accomodation. The bus stop for Coronet Peak Ski Area is a 15-minute walk or 5-minute Uber ride from our accomodation. We will provide more information on bus times closer to the start of the trip.
Lift Passes
Our package includes lift passes. If you already have your own, we can deduct $500 from our package price.
Schedule
Arrive in Queenstown on August 26th. First day of skiing/riding will be August 27th. We will be riding 2 days on, 1 day off, 2 days on. This is to allow you to rest your body and enjoy some of the other epic activities that Queenstown has to offer. Check out of accomodation September 1st. A detailed itinerary will be sent out 2 weeks before commencement of trip.
Group Size
We have limited the size of this trip to a maximum of 10 guests. This is a much smaller group than previous trips - meaning more one on one time to progress your skills.
Food
Queenstown is home to some of the best cafés, restaurants, and bars around. We’ve included one group dinner in the package for a fun night out together, during the other nights, we will explore the town as there are plenty of delicious food options & bars walking distance from our accomodation. If you prefer a cozy night in, our accommodation features a spacious kitchen for home-cooked meals. You will be responsible for supplying your own breakfasts & lunches on the mountain. There is a grocery store in town where we can buy breakfast foods if you wish to cook at home. We will provide snacks you can bring on the mountain.
On Mountain Guiding
Each day our guides will show you around Coronet Peak & The Remarkables fostering a safe and supportive environment with heaps of tips & encouragement. Please note that our guided sessions are not lessons, rather a time where the group can ride together, receive tips from our guides & support each other on the slopes. The camaraderie & encouragement during these sessions is the most special part of riding together. It’s also the most perfect environment to gain confidence on the slopes and improve your skills.
Travel Insurance
It is a requirement that each guest takes out their own comprehensive travel insurance that covers for snow sports. We require proof of insurance 30 days prior to the start of the trip.
Itinerary
An in-depth itinerary will be provided closer to the dates. Our first ski/snowboard day will be Wednesday the 27th of August.
Meet your host
Hi, I’m Steph! An Aussie surfer and snowboarder that loves to empower women with everything I do. I've spent the last two northern hemisphere winters riding the slopes of Whistler, working on my own riding skills and hosting community snow events. I am a CASI Level 2 & Park 1 snowboard instructor & there's nothing I love more than allowing others to experience the magic of snow sports. In 2019 I founded Groove Girls as a way to connect women & provide a space of encouragement through our community Group Surfs. Over the past 3+ years, I have been hosting Groove Girls Surf Retreats and Snow Trips within Australia, New Zealand & Japan, creating a safe and supportive environment and bringing women together from all over the world. My goal is to help women step outside their comfort zones, believe in themselves, pursue all the things they've always dreamed of doing & have fun whilst doing it!
Bookings & Cancellations
Upon booking, we require a $500 initial deposit to secure your booking. We require that the remaining balance to be paid before the 26th of June 2025. We will contact you via email to complete the outstanding balance. Please expect emails 2-4 days after the deposit has been paid through our website. Please note deposits are non-refundable. If you fail to complete the outstanding payment by 26/06/25 we will assume that you are no longer joining us, your spot will be listed back on our website & your deposit will not be refunded.
Payment Plans
If you would like to request a payment plan, once you’ve paid your deposit please email us at groovegirls@outlook.com. We can offer fortnightly or monthly payment plans. Please keep in mind we still require final payment to be paid by 26/06/25.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel your trip for a medical reason or emergency we will offer a refund up until 26/06/25 (excluding deposit). Within the 8.5 weeks leading up to the trip, we will not be able to issue a refund. However, we will accept the your spot being sold to another person during this time. Please inform us of any changes.
We are a small business and cancellations can put us in a very hard place. So from past experience we are being firm on a non-refundable deposit. We strongly advise including booking/trip cancellation insurance as part of your comprehensive travel insurance policy.

If you’re an intermediate rider you have the option to book either trips! If you are keen to try some park riding & progress your skills on black terrain we recommend booking our Intermediate/Advanced trip.

ABSOLUTELY! This trip is specifically designed for skiers and boarders who want to progress their riding with other girls who like to send it. We will be hosting specific park and ground trick sessions so you can challenge yourself in a positive atmosphere.

Absolutely! Most of the women who join our trips come solo. It is always the most warm and welcoming environment to meet new people, and you will most likely walk away with a new group of friends you can go on snow trips with.

Yes, if you only require a board or skis + poles we can deduct $60 from final invoice.

Absolutely! If you wish to ride on our scheduled rest day you are more than welcome. Please keep in mind you will be responsible for organising your own lift pass & mountain bus to and from the ski slopes.
