Travel/Flights
Each guest is responsible for their own travel/flights to and from Canberra. We will organise your return bus transfer from Canberra Airport to Jindabyne & back. Please be prepared to catch a 10:45am bus from Canberra Airport on July 27th. We recommend getting an early flight to Canberra that morning or flying in a day prior. The return bus will depart from Jindabyne at 3:30pm and return to Canberra Airport at 6pm. Please make sure to book flights accordingly.
Jindabyne to Perisher Shuttle Bus
Each day of our trip we will be catching the shuttle bus that runs from the Gippsland Street Bus Stop to Perisher. The bus stop is less than a 5-minute walk from our accomodation and the bus takes about 45 minutes to travel between Jindabyne & Perisher. We will provide more information on bus times closer to the start of the trip.
Lift Passes
Perisher has two great options for lift passes on sale at the moment. You can choose from purchasing an Epic Pass ($1,179 until April 23rd) that lets you ride unlimited days in Perisher, Falls Creek & Hotham as well as limited days in various Northern Hemisphere Ski Resorts. Another great option is the Epic Australia 4-Day Pass ($565 until April 23rd) that allows you any 4 days in Perisher, Falls Creek & Hotham. Please keep in mind that prices of these passes rise, so we recommend purchasing your pass early to secure the best price.
Schedule
Arrive in Jindabyne on July 27th. First day of skiing/riding will be July 28th. Check out of accomodation August 1st. A detailed itinerary will be sent out 2 weeks before commencement of trip.
Group Size
We have limited the size of this trip to a maximum of 13 guests. This is a much smaller group than previous trips - meaning more one on one time to progress your skills.
Food
On the first night of our trip we will provide a Welcome Dinner at our accomodation as well as another included group dinner at one of our favourite restaurants in town. Each day we will provide breakfast at our accomodation. You can expect foods like breaky wraps, overnight protein oats, fruits, bread, spreads, coffee & tea. We are a 8-minute walk to the Woolworths in town as well as various bakeries & cafes.
On Mountain Guiding
Each day our guides will show you around Perisher fostering a safe and supportive environment with heaps of tips & encouragement. We are also planning to host specific park & ground trick sessions so you can work on your skills & build more confidence on the slopes. Please note that our guided sessions are not lessons, rather a time where the group can ride, receive tips from our guides & support each other on the slopes. The camaraderie & encouragement during these sessions is the most special part of riding together. It’s also the most perfect environment to gain confidence on the slopes and improve your skills.
Meet your host
Hi, I’m Steph! An Aussie surfer and snowboarder that loves to empower women with everything I do. I've spent the last two northern hemisphere winters riding the slopes of Whistler, working on my own riding skills and hosting community snow events. I am a CASI Level 2 & Park 1 snowboard instructor & there's nothing I love more than allowing others to experience the magic of snow sports. In 2019 I founded Groove Girls as a way to connect women & provide a space of encouragement through our community Group Surfs. Over the past 3+ years, I have been hosting Groove Girls Surf Retreats and Snow Trips within Australia, New Zealand & Japan, creating a safe and supportive environment and bringing women together from all over the world. My goal is to help women step outside their comfort zones, believe in themselves, pursue all the things they've always dreamed of doing & have fun whilst doing it!

We are so excited to be heading back to Perisher! We hope to see you there xx
