We invite you to come join us for a once-in-a-lifetime snow trip to Perisher! Imagine snowboarding or skiing in a safe, supportive & encouraging environment, surrounded by like-minded women. Not only will you get to learn or improve your snowboarding/skiing, you will be enjoying the snow with a bunch of women in the same shoes as you.
Unless you’ve been going to the snow from a young age, we understand that getting involved in these sports can be quite daunting and intimidating. Our goal is to gain you confidence in the snow, whilst you hang with the raddest bunch of ladies you could possibly ask for. Facing your fears can be difficult but we will help you the entire way! We invite ALL ABILITIES, COLOURS, SIZES. Participants must be 18+.
This trip is suitable for riders who have never seen the snow before, to our experienced riders that like to hit the park or those double diamond runs.

5-nights Accommodation at Snowy Gums, Perisher in Multi Share Rooms
Group Return Transfer Bus from Canberra to Perisher 18th of June (leaving Canberra late afternoon), Perisher to Canberra 23rd June (time TBA).

2hr Group Snowboard/Ski Lesson on Day 1 (catered for beginners/lower intermediate riders)

PLEASE NOTE: We require that you purchase your own insurance to join our snow trip. Flip Insurance does one-off ski/snowboard cover for $25/week. All information is here https://www.getflip.com.au/skiing. We will require proof of insurance 30 days prior to the start of the trip.
Flights are on sale at the moment so we recommend booking them ASAP. We will be checking out of our accommodation on the 23rd of June and will be traveling back to Canberra (approx. 2.5hrs) around mid-morning. Please make sure to book either an afternoon flight (3pm onwards) on the 23rd of June or the next day. We will not be able to assist you in getting from Perisher to Canberra if your flight is booked on the morning of June 23rd. Please note, we are not responsible for organising accommodation if you wish to stay in Canberra on the 23rd of June.
PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Upon booking, we require a $490 initial deposit to secure your booking. You then have the option to pay the full outstanding balance of $2000 before the 28th of April or request a payment plan by emailing us at groovegirls@outlook.com. If you have requested a payment plan we require that a payment of $500 (on top of the initial deposit) has been made before the 28th of April. We will contact you via email to complete the outstanding balance. Please expect emails a few days after the deposit has been paid.
Please note deposits are only refundable up until 26/04/23 & only in the case of a medical reason or emergency. If you fail to complete the outstanding payment of $2000 (or $500 if you have requested a payment plan) by 28/04/23 we will assume that you are no longer joining us, your spot will be listed back on our website & your deposit will not be refunded.

Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel your trip for a medical reason or emergency we will offer a full refund up until 19/05/23. Within the 4 weeks leading up to the trip, we will not be able to issue a refund. However, we will accept the ticket being sold to another person during this time. Please inform us of any changes.
Please note: we are not responsible for participants’ travel to and from Canberra. We recommend flying into Canberra on the 18th of June & flying out of Canberra late afternoon on the 23rd of June.
